- You will report directly to the Head of In vitro Molecular Screening and be based in the Innovation Center in Kemptthal.**In this exciting role you will**:

- Develop your practical skills in different in vitro assays through practical experience and structured learning
- Conduct screening programs on different biological activities for novel ingredients
- Implement novel assays in our test pipeline
- Accomplish scientific projects, deliver and document results
- Keep your line management up to date about your results and offer conclusions/ways to enable the successful progress of projects
- Interact with an interdisciplinary environment: organic chemistry, analytical and perfumery laboratories
- Safely maintain lab equipment
- Follow scientific advancement in the field

**Your success profile includes**:

- University degree (MS in Life Science, Biochemistry or Biology or Toxicology (experience on the job; optionally with a PhD in one of these disciplines)
- Hands-on experience of biochemical assays
- Hands-on experience of Cell Biology (cultivation of cells, cell assays)
- Experience of GC-MS is desirable
- Used to work independently, able to complete a project (literature search, planning and performing experiments, documenting results)
- Motivated to learn and implement novel methods
- Open, constructive, creative team-player
- Quality awareness and sense for urgency
- Business fluent in English and the ability to record experimental details in English. German skills are an advantage
