**About the Role**

We are looking to recruit a motivated, and tenacious person with a master's or bachelor's degree, ideally in natural sciences for
a 4 - 6 months internship. As a member of the global Product Management team, you will work closely with the Public Sector Solutions (PSS) Products team and with the Client Management teams.

Accountabilities include
- Leading desktop research to develop new markets for PSS with a focus on natural catastrophes (earthquakes, hurricanes), green energy (wind/solar) and energy transition risk
- Analytics, structuring, and visualization of large datasets, including spatial data using GIS tools
- Bringing a data science mentality to improve the efficiency of workflows and efficacy of our products
- Supporting the team in developing go-to-market strategies and marketing materials for (re)insurance solutions in line with above mentioned focus areas
- Preparing and presenting vital analytical work to help steer the unit's business portfolio
- Assist the product managers to perform risk analyses, structure, and cost parametric, index-based insurance products

These solutions range from non-traditional risk transfer products such as cat bonds for pandemics to reinsurance coverages for SMEs for a changing climate. While the team increasingly reaches out into other lines of business, large natural catastrophes as well as large-scale weather-related risks remain at the core of our business success.

**About You**

The following capabilities are crucial:

- University degree in natural or applied sciences (preferably master's degree or higher)
- Fluency in two or more languages required, with English being a must (e.g., German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Arabic)
- Good analytical skills, ability to visualize data
- Excellent marketing (design) and writing skills
- Phenomenal teammate and experience in working in a fast-paced environment under time pressure
- Outgoing personality, does not shy to contact potential clients and handling client requests
- Broad curiosity about financial and political development in Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Perseverance, ability to see the big picture without compromising attention to detail
