HES-SO University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland - Geneva is recruiting for the Geneva School
of Business Administration (HEG-Geneva) in the International Business Management department a position of

**two UAS lecturers in Accounting and Finance**
**Activity rate : 30-40%
**Geneva School of Business Administration** is the largest business school of the University of Applied
Sciences of Western Switzerland with approximately 1,700 Bachelor students and 300 students in continuing
education programmes. HEG-Geneva is a practice-oriented public academic institution, awarding Bachelor
and Master degrees. Our programmes are designed to train the professionals of tomorrow. HEG -Geneva is
the reference school for applied management in French-speaking Switzerland.

**International Business Management** (IBM) is a young and dynamic programme created in 2013. Offering a
unique Bachelor's programme entirely in English, it currently welcomes around 450 students. Based on a
practice-oriented pedagogy, with professors, lecturers and external lecturers all with professional expertise,
the programme has contributed to increasing the international activities of the HEG-Geneva.

**Missions**
- Teach courses and continuously create fresh content in the fields of International Accounting, Finance &
Controlling, Financial Analysis and International Management in Bachelor and Master programs, as well as

in continuing education programs
- Supervise Bachelor and Master theses
- Perform coordination, administrative and organizational activities related to the field of teaching and

research

**Profile**
- Bachelor degree or equivalent diploma in International Accounting, Finance & Controlling, Financial

Analysis or a related field. A Master degree in a related field is an important asset
- Proven professional experience of at least 5 years in an international environment in the field of

International Accounting, Finance & Controlling, Financial Analysis. **Continuation of a professional**

**activity in this field is required**
- Strong teaching experience at the Bachelor and Master levels necessary
- Broad knowledge of the local and regional economies, together with an experience in an international

environment
- Ability to connect our students with meaningful international organizations to guarantee regular practice on
- Ability to operate in a complex changing environment and work with a team
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English and French (the department’s teaching language is

English). Working knowledge of French is expected after 4 years of employment
