**Accounting Support - Fixed term contract***

The Accounting Department is looking for an Accountant for a fixed term contract where main responsibilities include: corporate account receivable, corporate account payable, supporting the team with reconciliations, administration and direct & indirect tax

**What you will be doing**:

- Be responsible for the accurate and proper Accounting tasks for our Corporate entities in collaboration with our local team and outsourced support team
- Manage / ensure AR, AP and GL accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Accor Group policies
- Liaise with the Finance team in ensuring the best service is given to both internal and external clients

AR
- Responsible for the Accor Fees billing cycle to the Swiss Hotels
- Support the Local team for Adhoc billing (Hotels / Intercomany)

AP
- Submit & control day-to-day AP operations related to our Corporate office
- Verifying suppliers invoices alloction.
- Verifying and monitoring expense claims (Travel expenses).

GL
- Bank reconciliation: supporting the team in allocating payments (inbound/outgoing)
- Assist the local team in account reconciliation

Other
- Experience in Direct and/or Indirect Tax would be an asset
- Assist accounting administration ad hoc tasks
- Prepare supporting/documentation and liaise with external auditors or governmental authorities for audits
- Due to any circumstances, duties may vary or ad-hoc duties may be required

**Your experience and skills include**:

- A strong financial / accounting background
- Experience working with non-finance users to solve problems
- Strong Microsoft knowledge
- Able to work to deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable in approach to work, with the ability to multi-task
- Reliable and highly organised with the ability to prioritise
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- English speaking, any additional official language (in Switzerland) would be an asset

**Your team and working environment**:
This position is based in Switzerland/Zurich. You will join the Swiss Accounting Team and will report to the Accounting team based in DACH.

You should be eligible to fulfill the requirements for a work permit in Switzerland.
