You will play a vital role in supporting Novartis’ key manufacturing site for Cell and Gene Therapies Switzerland by identifying, developing, and following up projects of strategic importance in continuous collaboration with the site’s leadership team.
Preferred start date / asap: as soon as possible / April 1, 2024
Latest start date / flexible?: May 1, 2024
Duration: 12 months
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating/leading selected projects.
- Facilitating the search for alignment at site level in the case of divergent proposals and priorities.
- Support the screening and selection of alternative supplier for consumables and raw materials utilized in Cell Therapy manufacturing operation.
- Support sourcing team running process and price negotiation.
- Reporting for KPIs as well as the identified projects at local and global level.
- Supporting procurement & finance in day-to-day operations and in interactions with suppliers and internal business owners.

**Role Requirements**

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Education: PhD or master’s degree in business-related field or in life sciences
- Languages: English & German proficiency required
- Experience/Professional requirement: Experience (non-academic) in life science industry preferred
- Other requirements: High learning agility, skilled using digital tools & solutions
