Hobson Prior are seeking for a Scientist - Cellular & Soluble Biomarkers and Bioanalytics to join a fantastic pharmaceutical corporation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on offering multiple life-changing solutions for various illnesses.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- For this role, you will be accountable for analysing, summarising and presenting data to cross-functional teams.
- Guarantee a smooth transition of strategies and expertise into late-stage clinical development.
- Review new technologies within the field, create strategies and implement them throughout the drug development to assist with biomarker assessment in clinical development.
- You will plan, develop, conduct and supervise multifaceted flow cytometry and functional assays.
- Responsible for developing assay methods.
- Assist with the design and execution of assays, which includes flow cytometry-based detection of cellular biomarkers in various biological samples.
- Design and form experimental protocols, processing raw data, producing or evaluating reports to assist the clinical biomarker team.
- Any other assigned duties.

**Requirements**:
- Educated to an advanced degree level in a Biology, Immunology, Medical Science, Pharmacy, or similar field with familiarity and a comprehension of clinical immunology.
- At least 3+ years of experience within the development of biomarker strategies.
- At least 5+ years of experience within immunology.
- Knowledge of flow cytometry, with acquaintance and know-how of working with different flow cytometry platforms, such as BDinstruments and Spectral flow cytometry - Cytek; analysing and comprehending flow cytometry data, such as FACSDiva, FlowJo, SpectroFlo, Spotfire, R, Omiq or similar data analysis platforms.
- A scientific background evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Know-ow of multiple technologies to analyse soluble proteins, cellular targets and cellular functions, which involves immunoassays, flow cytometry and assays with living cells.
- Conscious of the needs for the pre-clinical and clinical development of therapeutic drugs within the field of biomarkers and bioanalytics.
- Conscious of various disease pathways and are eager to comprehend new pathways, diseases and key MoA of lead compounds in the clinic.
