Trading Assistant

To support our Coal team, we are looking for a Trading Assistant. In this role you will be given the opportunity to make your mark, with the aim of becoming a trader. You should be a resilient and committed person who is not afraid of high pressured and fast-paced working environments.
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Analysis: Assisting with market research and analysis.
- Logistics: Vessel chartering in co-operation with our chartering team, organizing rail ortruck transport or releasing of material in warehouse.
- Bank contacts - Letters of Credit (L/Cs): Opening of and checking of L/C’s for our suppliers and receivers, requesting amendments and negotiating documents for collection of payment.
- Contact with clients/field offices: Correspondence on availability of material in production, transit and in stock; documentation, invoicing, payments, client exposure control and claim handling.
**Qualifications**:
- A sound educational background (Bachelor or Master Degree).
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written), further languages are of advantage.
- Familiarity of global trading routes.
