**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to reinforce our team for a 6 months project.

The main tasks are:
**Quality Management and Accreditation (Overall Responsibility)**
- Liaises with other process owners (customer service / lab)
- Keeps track of failures and complaints, investigates the reasons and initiates actions to continuously improve the system
- Organizes internal and external audits
- Manages / coordinates non-conformities resulting from the internal/external audits (track record)
- Keeps main contact to SAS

**Operational Integrity and HSE (supportive)**
- Supports the Laboratory Manager and the OI manager with OI Trainings (and documents them)
- Helps with the implementation of OI directives and HSE measures
- Organizes regular monitoring/measurements

**Assistance to Lab Manager**
- Assists with the management of the analytical laboratory team on the daily business
- Informs the management team regularly about the operational performance of the lab (quantity, quality and timeliness),
- Prepares and analyzes air & dust samples for asbestos determination using electronic microscopy and PLM
- Responsibility for the maintenance and assessment of the technical equipment in the lab
- Maintains the equipment list (incl. Type, Age, Price, Depreciation period, current value, maintenance)

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in science
- Few years of experience in a laboratory environment, ideally in the field of electronic microscopy
- Experience with quality standards and processes (ISO 17’025)
- Knowledge of building pollutants and environmental testing
- Analytical thinking
- Good ability to interpret data
- Precise and thorough
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust, respect, and confidentiality
- Language skills: French: C1, German and English : B2
