Product Manager Optics

**Description**

SCOTT Sports SA is an international sporting goods company. We develop, produce and market bike, wintersports, motorsports and running products worldwide.
To reinforce our Optics Team in Givisiez (Switzerland) we are looking for a creative, dynamic and ambitious

**Product Manager Optics**

You will work in our cross-divisional product management team for SCOTT Hardgoods (Winter, Bike and Motorsports) and report directly to the Senior PM Optics. You are accountable for devising new product strategies, managing assigned product line plans and develop the new collections in close collaboration with a dedicated product development team. You will work closely with our manufacturers in Europe & USA.

**Tasks**:

- Analyze market needs, competitor’s product propositions and company sales figures
- Develop and implement assortment strategies for our goggles and sunglasses ranges in collaboration with our sales & marketing team
- Day-to-day communication exchange with manufacturers in Europe & USA
- Responsible for product line-up meetings with marketing & sales to present seasonal product concepts & prototypes to key markets
- Create & maintain product line-up in PLM system & maintain SKU efficiency by monitoring success of each product and proposing corrective actions
- Collaborate with our marketing team on product related content generation
- Product presentation to international sales, media & key accounts
- Multifunctional collaboration between marketing, sales, design, development & operations

We expect:

- Experience in product management in sporting goods industry
- Degree in business administration and/or marketing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills and ability to commercialize industry trends
- Ability to work in a team, prioritize and manage workload efficiently
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and PLM systems
- A strong passion for sporting goods and active sports enthusiast
- Fluent in Business English
- Willingness to travel
