(Internship) Smart Meter Data Graph Display Tool

Smart meter is a technology allowing to continuously measure and record our electricity consumption. It is intended to play an important role in the context of energy transition as it can be a basis for identifying which circumstances are leading to extra energy consumption. This technology is being widely rolled out across the country.

The goal of this internship is to explore ways of providing consumers with intuitive tools to read smart meter data graphs and deduce optimization measures. The intern will rely on research papers on this topic and make use of Microsoft Power Platform, this platform offers a rapid development environment to build custom apps.

**In this role**:Step1: Use Microsoft Power Platform to develop a prototype tool to:

- Retrieve and store smart meter data in Dataverse Virtual Entities
- Display for end consumer his electricity load graph on Power Apps Portal on different scales

Step 2: Search in the literature about electricity load profiles’ interpretation, drift and excess patterns, peak versus off-peak and propose practical solutions to enrich the tool

Step 3: Add graphical information on top of electricity load curve to assist the user in reading this graph and deducing optimization measures

Step 4: Add the possibility for the user to enter information about his installation: e.g., subscribed power, used engines, usage start and end time, etc. This data is stored in Dataverse and can be used by the user in the Portal on top of smart meter data graph.
