**Research Project Manager for Oncology Discovery (M/F/d)**:

- (contract until February/Mid of March 2024) ideally in Schlieren/Zürich or Basel as a second option. Start date is asap or within 2 months. Home Office: Hybrid, 80-100% possible.

**ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION**:

- Enabling a vision & strategy for Discovery projects in partnership with the research project leader and the project team. Consolidating high-level project information obtained from project teams into project plans
- Feeding essential info into portfolio management, creating alignment & transparency and thus enriching decision making by the leadership
- Guiding teams through the ever-changing landscape of governance & stakeholder management
- Supporting the annual goal-setting process for Discovery projects and regular tracking of progress against these goals
- Assisting and guiding individual project teams at their interface with governance bodies and supporting functions in dealing with complex issues that impact the Discovery Portfolio
- Working with the Project teams to identify, validate and propose potential solutions to major issues, resource bottlenecks, project plan deviations, and develop trade-off options for rapid project progression or early project termination

**REQUIRED PROFILE**:

- University Degree in natural sciences, PhDs desired or other with several years of relevant experience
- Min. 2 years experience in Project Management in the drug development space for cancer research and development
- Good understanding of the scientific language and behaviors, ideally in Oncology
- Experience in working in a matrix environment
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
- Knowledgeable in supporting or leading cross-functional drug discovery or development project teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in preparing and running effective meetings & workshops
- Working well within teams and effective in collaborating with others internally and externally
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive working >
- Conceptual and analytical thinking and experience in working with multidisciplinary teams
- Able to translate strategy into action
