About Us:
The infrastructure investment team of Swiss Life Asset Managers is investment adviser to eight infrastructure funds, with total infrastructure assets under management of more than EUR 9bn (and growing). Since its inception in 2013, the team has successfully executed over 60 direct infrastructure investments. The mandate is focused on private equity investments in infrastructure assets in Europe and North America in the upper mid-cap to lower large-cap market segments.

The infrastructure investment team is a young and growing unit with professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including private equity, M&A, strategy consulting and engineering. The entire dedicated infrastructure private equity team of Swiss Life Asset Managers consists of more than 40 investment professionals and is based in the heart of the Swiss financial capital, Zurich.

For the next cycle, we are looking for an Intern available as of 1 August 2023 to join our dynamic team.

Your Area of Responsibility:
- Support investment managers in the analysis, valuation, due diligence and execution of private equity investment opportunities in Europe and North America- Support investment managers writing investment memos and presentations, including investment committee recommendations- Support investment managers in managing portfolio companies, including tracking of financial performance, valuation and strategic goals- Provide desktop research into the infrastructure market, relevant sub-sectors and related areas

You will receive on-the-job training and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects and tasks. High-performing interns will be considered for conversion into a full-time role with a dedicated analyst program.

Your Profile:- Strong knowledge of corporate finance- Strong interest in private equity and infrastructure- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint- Basic financial modelling experience and skills are an asset- Ability to absorb and process large quantities of information- Team player with strong interpersonal skills- Fluency in English is required (including excellent writing skills), fluency in German is an asset (but not required)
