**Head of Cash Management**:

In this role, you are globally responsible for ABB’s global cash centralization, payment processes and infrastructure, bank statement and bank account management infrastructure as well as establishing a target operating model for Cash Management including fully functional and centralized in-house bank with payments-on-behalf-of (POBO), collections-on-behalf-of (COBO) and receivables-on-behalf-of (ROBO) where applicable - in line with Treasury’s target operating model and as part of ABB Finance Transformation. You will have global responsibility for all Cash Management activities including all payment channels for the ABB Group. Your main target is to establish and manage a full fledged payment factory/in-house bank utilizing SAP’s In-House Cash functionalities module for intercompany settlements, external payments and customer receipts. You are responsible for global, standardized cash management operating model and associated processes and policies as well as a country and entity based exception process where appropriate for non-standard solutions, including local implementation and execution of cash management processes. You will lead a global cash management team consisting of a centralized cash management development team, regional cash management Centers of Excellence (CoE) teams for key ABB regions as well as a centralized ABB Treasury Back Office team. You will report to Corporate Treasurer of ABB Group and are a member of Corporate Treasury Leadership Team.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Be the domain owner of cash management end-to-end process and all cash and bank account management related matters in ABB Group
- Support the Corporate Treasury strategy by leveraging your cash, bank account and liquidity management expertise
- Define global, regional and local cash management bank strategies, ensuring robust coverage, while harmonizing ABB’s cash management landscape
- Take full end-to-end global ownership over cash, bank account and bank relationship management processes. Lead the regional Cash Management Center of Expertise teams (CoE) to standardize, improve and enhance these processes, ensuring the CoEs have the necessary insights, tools and capabilities to run efficient global processes, while covering related risks
- Be the Group responsible for all cash management related matters including regional and global cash pooling structures, the GCM platform/payment factory, in-house bank establishment as well as cash reporting for liquidity visibility and forecasting
- Be the Global Process Owner of Controls over Bank Account Management and maintain a robust internal control framework. Actively guide and support the dedicated regional Cash Management CoEs in fulfilling internal control requirements related to cash and bank account management. Monitor activities ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and standards
- Closely work and collaborate with the Corporate Treasury organization and finance and country management to transform ABB cash and bank account management to best in class and to align on strategic priorities and initiatives, supporting the shift to standardized processes and promoting the adherence to corporate policies
- Identify, propose and implement solutions resulting in improved efficiency, in alignment with business strategy and standard processes
- Collaborate with the Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, HR, Financial Services, Information Systems and Internal Controls when designing and implementing cash management processes and solutions
- Take ownership of the Treasury processes within your area, evaluate and monitor related risks and ensure adequate risk coverage and fraud prevention. Implement appropriate measures in coordination with businesses to manage related risks.
- Define and monitor transitional and operational performance and compliance key performance indicators for global Cash Management. Periodically review key performance indicators to suggest action plans to improve results.
- Ensure proper cash management internal controls are owned and performed as necessary.
- Lead a global team of experts.

**Your background**:

- University degree (Bachelor/Master) plus further professional qualification.
- At least 12 years professional experience in the Treasury function of a global company, with an extensive experience in tasks and responsibilities relating to payments processing, bank account and liquidity management. Cash management experience at a major bank is a
