**The Opportunity**
**Responsibilities**:
- Planning, executing and reporting of Financial, Operational, IT and Compliance audits internationally.
- Leading audit teams, including supervision of third party co-sourced staff.
- Building and maintaining relationships with audit business partners.
- Supporting SOX activities and other assurance or advisory projects.
- Managing a portfolio of audit projects and activities.
- Assist with the development of the risk assessment and leveraging the risk assessment to determine the audit scope and identify risks and results.
- Analysing and identifying risk areas in order to establish and communicate a strong Audit process that evaluates the controls in place which mitigate risks.
- Communicating audit observations to Senior Management and developing recommendations.
- Identifying current audit and compliance trends by maintaining a relevant knowledge and understanding of accounting standards, regulatory issues and industry updates through consulting with industry counterparts and experts, attending training courses, continuing education, conferences and reading related literature.
- Building external collaborative networks and internal relationships with cross-functional areas.
- Demonstrating a high level of specialized functional area expertise in a specific line of business (compliance with anti-corruption policies), with expertise across one or more other lines of business.
- Sharing knowledge and ideas with the Audit team and support critical reasoning with Company, industry and professional standards.
- Performing internal projects as requested by the Internal Audit Leader and help developing the Internal Audit Department.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Relevant certificates (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA or CFE).
- Experience in Compliance, Internal Audit or External Audit (with advanced degree).
- Experience with US-SOX Section 404 requirements.
- Understanding of Pharmaceutical Industry risks and regulatory requirements e.g. FCPA, UK Bribery Act, etc.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical company strategies and operational processes and risk and compliance management activities.
- Ability to lead audit projects and provide quality deliverables in line with deadlines.
- Healthcare / Pharmaceutical industry working experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skill in English - Business fluency mandatory.
**Preferred**:
- Knowledge of current compliance issues facing the Healthcare / Pharmaceutical industry, including fraud and abuse issues resulting from interactions with healthcare professionals and reimbursement by government payment programs.
- Experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks.
- Managing resource requirements and budgets.
- Data Analytics and IT affinity is an advantage.
