We’re looking for a Dev Decentral Chapter Lead to:

- act as people and development manager to Dev Decentral, be a mentor supporting growth and career progression and ensure high standards of Decentral engineering is applied across the delivery crews,
- support and enable the chapter with new / emerging practices, learning opportunities and capability building
- connect chapters to the wider UBS community of guilds, engage as thought and action leader beyond the borders of the crew
- work with Crew Leads and Agile coaches to understand and resolve challenges, opportunities and areas of collaboration
- support the broader strategy and goals of their organization to ensure chapter members are equipped to understand in their context
- to drive DevOPS modernization across our products using decentral technology
- to foster SME culture and encourage the team to have the big picture in mind, while reducing single person dependencies.

**Your team**

You’ll be working in the Financial Messaging Capability Unit of Group Technology in Zürich. This is a global crew with over 80+ team members working together as a foundation crew for providing, connection, transformation and screening services to our client need streams.

As a chapter Lead, you will be responsible for driving efficiency and growth of dev decentral chapter within GMS crew.

You will need to be personally responsible for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and display exemplary conduct and live by the UBS Behaviors.

**Your expertise**
- strong servant leader who can garner respect from individuals, puts their needs first, and with a strong attitude of transparency
- domain Background in Financial Messaging
- technical skills javascript, html, css, xml,json, sql, soap, rest, infra mq know how, apigee, unix/linux ,knowledge as well as devops capabilities ci/cd pipeline ansible and python.
- Agile Certified practitioner.
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Messaging
