The head of Securities Transfers is responsible for the flawless operation of daily business processing. The transformation and continuous improvement of the function is a key focus.
Having the responsibility for the team deliverables and goals he or she manages the workload across the team. Active risk management and reporting are important duties of this role.
The in depth product and settlement know how enables the interaction with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the ongoing improvement of the services of the unit.
People development is a priority and fostering an environment of collaboration ensures the delivery of high standard services to the bank and its clients.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
- Responsible for overall team deliverables and goals performance
- Manage workload across the team (e.g. backlog, forward planning)
- Responsible for the risk controls
- Manage reporting and escalations
- Drive the creation of guidelines & policies and ensure adherence
- Assess and implement processes for new products or services
- Participate in important change initiatives
- Manage people implication of change, interact with other units at management level
- Operationalize changes within the team
- Focus on people development & management
- Foster collaboration within and outside the team
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Solid leadership skills and experience (communication, act as role model, provide direction, active staff development and performance monitoring)
- Very good know how in settlements free of payment across securitized asset classes
- Solid risk management skills maintaining an overview of risk management tasks and mitigation actions
- Good planning and delegation skills
- Experienced change manager
- Fluent in German and English
- Well versed with MS Office tools
- Banking apprenticeship and / or higher education in the area of banking / business administration
- Experience in business transformation and change projects
- Experience in managing Banking Operations functions
