**Tasks you will like**:

- Set and lead the direction and development of Assortment and Space capabilities at Valora Retail
- Analyze business variables and research market practices to trigger strategic projects and make Assortment and Space decisions
- Identify Assortment, Space, and Planogram opportunities, create the conditions and capabilities necessary to exploit them, and empower decision-makers
- Develop analytical tools for strategy implementation
- Regularly review and improve current definitions and processes
- Connect the Assortment and Space capabilities to other processes to create value for the company
- Manage & innovate Assortment, Space, and Planogram Processes
- Ensure execution and coordination with the rest of the departments involved and aligned with the commercial strategy
- Define and maintain operational guidelines for ease of execution

**Requirements you meet**:

- University degree with a major in economics or process engineering is a plus
- Proficiency in process improvement, either in consulting or as part of an organization
- Competence in retail processes, including promotions, pricing, or replenishment management, and optimization through data-driven solutions
- Project management proficiency, including projects with technological, change management, and operational implications/elements
- Leadership skills, having directly led a team of people within an area of responsibility or a project, including performance review and feedback.
- English language at professional working proficiency and basic knowledge of the German and Spanish language is advised
