Your Role:
Collect production schedule from BPS and Raw Material forecasts from LABs and download figures in SAP.

Support Production and LAB Teams in order to optimize forecasting process by analyzing historical data, trend lines and other relevant information in Binocs.

Reflect plan changes in the system and verify impact on production capacity, BOMs and schedule as well as on availability of inventory and purchasing needs.

Accountable for management of (pre-)BOMs and final post-production BOM updates.

Manage MRP tool and related parameters to ensure proper procurement need calculation.

Review MRP output and release automatic Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders. Liaise with sourcing team and vendors to follow up timely reception of products.

Follow up inventory levels to support corporate targets and set safety stock levels accordingly.

Liaise with Planning Expert Consumables to set and maintain master data and planning parameters in the ERP/MRP system.

Track RM receipts, allocate RM to appropriate costs centers and projects and inform BPS on availability of complete set of items.

Issue dispensing and process orders.

Manage planning and procurement process for pre-packed columns and cell banks.

Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, eliminate waste and obsolescence, and streamline processes.

Identify opportunities for refinement of planning strategy.

Ensure item master data maintenance for RM. Ensure the consistency and quality of data and is the single point of contact at BDC for data cleansing, new code creation, mass uploads and change requests (back up: Planning expert consumables) as far as item master and BOMs are concerned.

Develop and run long and short-term capacity models to identify potential operational constraints.

Provide input during budget planning process.

Prepare and facilitate periodic control tower meetings as required.

Participate in the testing of SAP designs to ensure smooth implementation. Run SAP test scripts in a timely fashion.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Plan to Produce process for RM.

In Procurement: Ensure appropriate volumes of material are purchased at the right time according to supplier lead-times. Follow-up OTIF KPI for vendors.

In Inventory Planning: Help achieve and maintain target stock levels to ensure timely availability of material and avoid stock-outs or overstock. Identify causes and possible solutions to the overstock.
Define appropriate procurement strategy (based on forecasts or reorder point).

Identify and pursue inactive, excess, and aging inventory for resolution, recovery and process improvements. Gather input/approval from Compliance expert, QA, QC, LABs, CMS or other sites etc. to determine actions (e.g. extension of shelf-life).

In Production Planning: Allocate raw material batches to work orders where applicable. Ensure proper communication with logistics to ensure proper material preparation at the warehouse. Launch process orders in the system.

In Logistics: Liaise with Warehouse and Distribution Officer to organise timely transfers of goods between 3PL and BDC warehouse.

In Dispensing: ensure timely execution of dispensing orders when required in coordination with W&D officer and support team.

General:
Help define and document processes and work instructions.

Escalate issues to the Head of Supply and Logistics. Identify root cause and drive corrective actions.

Develop and maintain performance tracking metrics.

Interface with Sourcing, Production, LABs, Warehouse & Distribution, Quality, Support Team, etc.

Provide back up for the Senior Manager Supply and Logistics as needed.

Act as backup to Planning expert Consumables.

Other job-related duties as required.

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Academic master degree in management, Engineering and/or Business Administration (university level).
- Specific education in Supply Chain (Degree or APICS certification) a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP, advanced planning systems, statistical forecasting, and formal training in MR
