**Purpose of the role**

Over the past few years, Proton has established itself as a global leader in online security. Unlike most companies in the tech space, at Proton we value customer privacy above all, limiting the data collection to anonymised operational data. This makes the Data Team’s job a very challenging one The Proton Data Team is in charge of all things data in the company: from product analytics to financial metrics, including topics such as product or infrastructure performance. We leverage our on-premise custom data platform to provide support for data-driven decision making throughout the company. Come join us and help make a better internet

**What you will do**
- Assemble, clean, and manage large, complex datasets
- Use data to produce dashboards and reports for a wide array of stakeholders
- Contribute to the internal analysis frameworks and take ownership of some of these tools
Contribute to ongoing data cataloging efforts
- Experience working with and analyzing large, complex datasets
- Advanced knowledge of Python, experience designing or contributing to large libraries and codebases
- Masters of Science or higher degree in a quantitative discipline: statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, etc.
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Strong analytical skills
- Basic understanding of business intelligence, marketing KPIs, and web analytics
- Knowledge of Scala is considered a plus
