**Position Summary**

As a “**Finance Trainee**”, you will be supporting the Decision Support Team in managing the P&L of different Business Units. In this position, you will give help to forecast and validate Actuals for all P&L lines. To reach that goal, you will need to perform various health checks about process execution and to work closely with other functions such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc. You will also work together with the related Primary Cost Owner, to ensure consistency within the DF (Dynamic Forecast) evolution over time, as well as between Actuals and Forecasting.

**A Day in the Life of a Controlling Specialist**
- Support the Monthly Business Planning Process, helping to reach a bottom-up forecast with transparency on input assumptions and conducting sanity checks to ensure a technically clean and business-wise properly established DF. Manage DF publication in Zone Europe official tool (FIT)
- Build the explaining story behind a given forecast in collaboration with team peers and Primary Cost Owners, and discuss this underlying story with the related Business Controller for final DF confirmation
- Ensure rock solid accounting by driving Period End Closing activities and health checks
- Help to track marketing expenses vs initial budget and explain differences
- Manage standardized set of reports by providing P&L data to Business Units. Conduct variance analysis and collect explanations from Primary Cost Owners for issues identified with the figure’s evolution
- Act as guardian of master data quality and ensure proper and timely updates

**What will make you successful**
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Business / Finance and/or Accounting
- Prior experience in Accounting / Finance function is a plus (e.g. Sales, Factory or Supply Chain), ideally in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
- Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)
- Able to work in cross functional environment and with Senior Leaders
- Fluent in English and French
