Aircraft Manager

As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

**Responsibilities**:
As a member of airworthiness team, responsible for coordination and management of the demonstration of safety of flight of prototype (for initial flight clearance, subsequent changes and continuing airworthiness)

As a DO coordinator for prototype, responsible for collecting flight tests requests and establishment of flight test program with flight test team

Responsible for the prototype representativeness for compliance demonstration (configuration, tests plan, environmental conditions)

Manage and track flight clearance plan for initial prototype flight clearance activities as well as the documents shared with the authorities

Manage and track the flight safety statements for experimental activities

Verify the consistency and integration of the required airworthiness certification flight tests activities according to certification program for baseline and optional kits

Coordinate prototype flight test program with flight test engineer to ensure completeness of flight required to fulfilled certification plan with identification and mitigation of associated risks

Consult the DO in all matters of airworthiness and approval as well as maintaining the certification aspects of the DAS for prototype activities

Prepare prototype change classification assessment form (applicability of DOA privileges)

Assist on the development of mandatory occurrence reports in the case of unsafe prototype condition

Monitor the revisions of the Flight Conditions documents

Your qualifications

Engineering degree or a proven record in comparable function

Common knowledge about DOH/DAS/QMS

Experience in Part 21 (Subparts A,B,D,E,J,H,I,K,P) and knowledge of CS-27 requirements

At least 5 years professional experience in the aviation industry and at least 3 years professional experience in airworthiness or flight testing

Ability to deal with different systems/disciplines, documentation, databases, and entities in parallel

English minimum B2 level
