Production Expert in The Value Stream Solids

**Project**:
For our customer, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for a production expert (M/F/d) in the Solids Finished Good value stream.

**Background**:
As a production expert (M/F/d) you are an integral part of the packaging team and are therefore responsible for operating the production facilities and for the correct implementation of order and batch changes in order to ensure GMP and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) compliant production. You contribute to optimizing production processes and increasing plant availability through organizational and technical improvements. You report directly to the head of the VS-Solids Kaiseraugst process unit.

**Main tasks and areas of responsibility**:

- Independent execution of packaging activities in accordance with applicable
- GMP regulations including identification and billing of materials, carrying out in-process controls and sampling, transport and disposal of goods
- Participation in routine production as a production expert (plant operator)
- Independent operation of the production plants and the associated IT systems
- Independent documentation of all GMP-relevant work and faults (SAP, MES, OEE) and immediate reporting of identified deviations and faulty conditions
- Ensuring the availability of format parts, packaging materials and consumables at the site
- Evaluation and processing of alarms and faults including commenting on them in the OEE tool
- Clearing and cleaning the production plants
- Disposal of waste
- Processing of production orders in the corresponding IT systems (billing of production orders, operation of the line control center)
- Coordination and implementation of conversion activities in cooperation with the technology and the line fitters
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
- Ensuring production according to written specifications in qualitative and quantitative terms

**Must Haves**:

- Completed vocational training in the field of mechanics, food industry or pharmacy
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP), ideally in the areas of packaging
- Routine handling of production-relevant systems (MES, SAP eWM), as well as generally with MS Office or G-Suite
- High willingness to learn for use in different areas and technologies (polyvalence)
- High ability to work in a team and willingness to work in a self-organized team, as well as to take on corresponding responsibility
- Willingness and flexibility to work shifts
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Structured, responsible and independent way of working
- Good process and technical understanding
- Very good knowledge of German (spoken and written)

**Nice to have**:

- Knowledge of English
