**Genetic Epidemiologist/Computational Biologist (f/m/d)**

**What Is Special About Davos?**

Davos is the largest resort in the Alps for mountain holidays and sport. It is at 1560 m the highest town in the Alps and has one of Switzerland’s biggest ski resorts. In winter you can enjoy more than 300 km of slopes, and in summer explore 700 km of hiking trails. Davos is the traditional host of the World Economic Forum as well as the Spengler Cup, the oldest international hockey tournament.

**What Would Be Your Main Responsibilities?**
- You perform data analysis with NGS data (e.g., WGS data, RNA-Seq or microbiome data).
- You perform joint analysis of clinical, biomarker and omics data.
- You help in the results interpretation and query corresponding databases.
- You participate in the publication of research findings.
- You may perform your own dry-lab methodological research.

- You are a proactive and independent thinker with background in Genetic Epidemiology, Statistical Genetics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or similar.
- You have ≥ 3 years of experience after your master degree, and you preferably have a doctoral degree.
- You are experienced in NGS data analysis and integration of high-dimensional omics data.
- You have knowledge of working in a Linux environment.
- You are familiar with important biological concepts and bioinformatics tools.
- You are enthusiastic and passionate about science.
- You love to communicate, to collaborate, to connect different scientific disciplines and to contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
