JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Jabil Lean Coach will develop Lean expertise through an immersive, 18 - 24 months rotational program which provides significant exposure to Lean Six Sigma projects and Jabil’s deployment approach. Through this program, the Associate Lean Coach will gain exposure across the company. The Associate Lean Coach position is intended to be an entry point into Jabil.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supporting Activities:
a. Lead and support specific Jabil Lean Enablement & Consulting Group improvement projects.
b. Support the Lean Maturity Assessment process.
c. Support and lead various divisional projects based on pull from Lean Divisional Directors. May require short and long term assignments at Jabil facilities for hands-on support.
e. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
2. Education and Development
a. Complete the Bronze Certification Coursework.
3. Focus on administrative processes and automatisation of them. Using Office 365 tools.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong data analysis skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); comfortable presenting to groups of customers or employees
- Understanding of the fundamentals and principles of Lean Manufacturing
- Advanced PC skills
- Exposure to lean tools and processes
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- At least 0 to 2 years experience as QE, IE, Planner, Line Manager or equivalent position
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline preferred
- Project management and facilitation experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
