Physical Chemist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Chemist to join our team. As a Physical Chemist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing physical and theoretical chemistry techniques to study the physical properties of diamonds.

Tasks

**Key responsibilities of the physical chemist will include**:

- Develop and implement physical chemistry techniques to study the physical properties of diamonds, including spectroscopy, diffraction, and calorimetry.
- Conduct experiments to investigate the properties of diamonds and analyze data.
- Develop theoretical models to explain experimental results and make predictions.
- Collaborate with other members of the research team to develop new techniques to characterize diamonds.

**Requirements**:

- PhD in Physical Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong background in physical and theoretical chemistry.
- Experience in a range of analytical techniques including spectroscopy, diffraction, and calorimetry.
- Experience with computer modeling and simulation software.
- Fast and effective problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capability.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
