Working as a Category manager you will be developing, planning, and implementing category strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for Copper and Aluminum for Large Motors and Generators and IEC Low Voltage Motors divisions.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing, implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with the business strategy, ensuring that the supplier base / suppliers have the capability and capacity for meeting current and future business requirements.
- Managing planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, savings forecasts and minimizing risk regarding quality and financial exposure by utilizing quality and commercial procedures, in accordance with company guidelines.
- Negotiating agreements and price lists with suppliers, and periodically reviews price lists, terms and conditions and designing and implementing cost-out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets.
- Negotiating and managing frame agreements and other contracts with the suppliers and ensuring identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers in accordance with company policies.
- Contributing and participating in setting and implementing the budget and targets within the framework and ensuring the category sourcing performance targets are achieved.
- Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed and guiding, motivating, and developing category team members within HR policies and Group Procurement and Logistics excellence guidelines.
- Ensuring clear communication and collaboration across the global category team and local divisions all over the world.

**Your background**:

- 5 years’ experience in a similar role and capacity
- Ability to develop the supplier portfolio and build relationships to secure the supply of components
- Ability to manage the planning and tracking of SCM activities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in matrix organization and units with diverse structure
- Strong leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant course, Master is an advantage
- Experience in heavy industry
