Hobson Prior are seeking for a Global Product Safety Science Lead to join a brilliant biopharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on changing the lives of those suffering from rare and debilitating illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this role, you will guide the multidisciplinary product level benefit risk team meetings.
- Serve as a representative for international PVG and patient safety in engagements with both internal and external business associates, regulatory authorities, advisory boards, HCPs and KOLs.
- Responsible for safety signal management from all sources for allocated products.
- Guarantee that the company core safety information for allocated product(s) is precise and presented in a timely manner.
- For designated products, prepare when required, evaluate, and approve product safety information in all ad hoc documents or regulatory-necessary periodic reports needing medical evaluation and comprehension, which involves offer medical opinion on all pertinent papers prior to proposal to regulatory authorities, journals and external meetings, as well as offer medical contribution to protocols and end-of-study reports.

**Requirements**:

- At least 8 years of experience in pertinent clinical practice, clinical research, and/or work experience in a drug regulatory agency and/or R&D within a pharmaceutical organisation.
- At least 5 years of experience in examining signal review and benefit/risk of medicines in an international pharmaceutical organisation or a drug regulatory agency.
- Familiarity working within development programs and with products with market approvals.
