Associate Director of Global Scientific Affairs

Hobson Prior are seeking an Associate Director of Global Scientific Affairs for a fantastic pharmaceutical establishment on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on manufacturing novel remedies for people with unique illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this position, you will be responsible for developing and heading the scientific communications strategy for allotted assets within Immunology & Specialty Care.
- Direct the global publication plan (manuscripts, abstracts, presentations), guaranteeing coalition with the Global Medical & Scientific Affairs and brand strategies.
- You will recognise and prioritise important training needs of the associates and develop and manage programs to address those needs.
- Manage the development efforts for external medical education and training.
- Participate in ground-breaking digital/multichannel methods for the dissemination of medical materials.
- Handle relationships with external medical communication agencies, prioritise, and appoint activities.

**Requirements**:

- Obtained an advanced degree (ideally a PhD) and/or qualification in a scientific medical area (i.e., PharmD).
- At least 2+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry or at least 5+ year of similar experience in a medical communications organisation.
- CMPP qualified.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Fluency in the English language.
- You possess a solid scientific background with the capability to examine, understand, and exhibit data to diverse target audiences strategic thinking.
- Any other European languages would be beneficial to the role but are not required.
