Live-in Housekeeper

Our client, with a residence in Crans-Montana and Valais, Switzerland, are looking for a Housekeeper who can keep an order of both households, and who is flexible enough to perform all tasks required.

**Duties include**:

- Laundry, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes as well as arranging the wardrobe
- In addition, an attention to cleaning and polishing shoes will be required
- Cleaning duties including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, polishing floors, vacuum-cleaning rugs, carpets and draperies, dusting furniture and fittings, emptying and cleaning bins
- Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs, and showers, including the drain systems as well as mirrors, cleaning balconies and windows and more
- Making beds and changing linens
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
- Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste
- Steaming and cleaning draperies
- Washing blinds
- Tidying up rooms
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and shopping for or ordering more as needed
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

Ideally, the client is seeking someone who is organised and attentive to the details, who is thorough and fast in performing their duties, and who can arrange things in an orderly and unique way.

The working hours consist of 5 days per week, 8 hours each working day. The work must be shared between the 2 premises.

Staff shared accommodation in separate premises from both places of work.

Salary circa 4,000 CHF gross per month.
