Das **Center for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS)** ist ein interdisziplinäres Universitätsinstitut für Philanthropie und Stiftungswesen der Universität Basel. Das CEPS wurde 2008 gegründet und verbindet international anerkannte Forschung mit der praktischen Umsetzung in Weiterbildungsangeboten. Zur Stärkung seiner Forschungstätigkeit sucht das CEPS **nach Vereinbarung** eine Doktorandin/einen Doktoranden.

**Ihre Aufgaben**

Die Tätigkeit umfasst die Erarbeitung einer Doktorarbeit mit einem **Schwerpunkt zu Nonprofit-Management **sowie die Mitarbeit an weiteren Forschungsprojekten im Rahmen der interdisziplinären Forschungsagenda des CEPS. Zudem unterstützen Sie das CEPS-Team in den weiteren Arbeitsbereichen Lehre und Weiterbildung.

**Ihr Profil**

Sie verfügen über einen sehr guten Universitätsabschluss in Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Master) und haben Interesse an einer Dissertation. Neben einem grundlegenden Verständnis für sozialwissenschaftliche Methoden zeichnen Sie sich durch ein ausgeprägtes Interesse an dem vielfältigen Themenbereich Nonprofit-Management aus. Grosse kommunikative Kompetenz, Bereitschaft zum eigenständigen Arbeiten, fliessend mündlich und schriftlich in Deutsch, sehr gute Sprachkenntnisse mündlich und schriftlich in Englisch sowie ein freiwilliges oder gemeinnütziges Engagement in der Freizeit runden Ihr Profil ab.

Sie können Ihre Kompetenzen einsetzen für ein besseres Verständnis der Gemeinnützigkeit und der Philanthropie. Durch Tätigkeiten in Weiterbildung und Wissenstransfer können Sie zudem Erfahrungen in der Zusammenarbeit mit Nonprofit-Organisationen sammeln. Die Anstellungsbedingungen und das Gehalt richten sich nach den Vorgaben der Universität Basel.
