We are seeking a co-founder for our Zurich-based startup company (open to remote and hybrid work within the European time zone, ideally Switzerland, Germany, Spain or Israel).

To excel in this role, you should possess an unwavering passion for pushing the boundaries of AI technology, including expertise in GenAI and LLMs. Additionally, you must have a profound understanding of building ML and data pipelines that strike a balance between robustness and the need to innovate at startup speed. As a co-founder, you will play an active role in driving critical technical decisions that shape the growth and trajectory of our company.

We are looking for a person who is happy to be an individual contributor and at the same time drive the technical roadmap and build the technical team.

Tasks
- Design and establish a robust and contemporary data pipeline to facilitate the exploration, enhancement, and evaluation of startup companies.
- Work closely with the other founders to define the product vision and strategy
- Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms to enhance the venture capital (VC) deal search process.
- Utilize large language models (LLMs) to enrich our data, enabling the creation of distinctive customer interactions with their desired companies, and forming the foundation for an innovative recommender system.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to optimize efficiency and functionality.
- Enhance and fine-tune the 24-month roadmap for platform development, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Strong engineering background with the ability to work quickly and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment, prioritizing innovation and rapid iteration, e.g. gained through ab engineering / computer science degree, 5+ yrs experience in a technical role, as CTO of a startup company.
- Experience in building and managing data pipelines using modern tools and frameworks such as Dagster, Mage, or Prefect.
- Deep knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs and LangChain.
- Ability to solve complex business problems and generate innovative technical ideas.
- Knowledge of machine learning, LLMs (Language Model Models), and automation technologies.
- Capability to lead and motivate a tech team, while also being comfortable working as an individual contributor and actively engaging in hands-on tasks.

Penny Schiffer is our CEO & cofounder of Raized - building an AI engine for the VC industry. She was named global thought leader by datadrivenvc and top 10 European female investor by Insider. She is an ex-VC turned entrepreneur. After having invested in 30 startup companies with Swisscom Ventures and as an angel, having sourced thousands of investment opportunities, Penny feels that this industry is ripe for disruption. She is also a data scientist by training - which comes in handy.

CMO cofounder Thomas Schulz has been developing software for almost two decades, he pioneered in the conversational AI space almost a decade ago, allowing for rapid prototyping and smart product iterations. Plus, he brings a ton of experience in B2B sales from his role as sales exec with IBM.
