Mid-level Lawyer

**Mid-Level Lawyer - Licensing (Pharma)- Temporary position - German speaking (remote)**

Kalexius is a leading provider of managed legal services to in-house legal departments. In the context of our rapid growth, we are currently looking for a mid-Level Lawyer specializing in licensing transactions.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As a lawyer with previous experience in dealing with licensing transactions in the pharmaceutical sector, you will play a key role in handling a wide range of global and regional business agreements, with a particular focus on collaborations and complex licensing transactions. Your responsibilities will include:

- Independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various business agreements on a global scale, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Leading and overseeing the legal aspects of due diligence and related matters for complex licensing transactions, collaborating with strategic stakeholders to provide early feedback and guidance.
- Providing strategic advice to internal business partners and senior management, conducting legal and business risk assessments
- Taking a leading role in the development, implementation, and enhancement of policies, templates, training, and processes for complex licensing activities, supporting seamless business operations.

**Skills and Experience**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- A law degree, with a strong academic record.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Extensive expertise in advising business development and senior management on transactions and negotiations, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English, enabling effective communication of complex legal concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating strong decision-making capabilities and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
