In this position, you will lead our purchasing department and you will have full functional as well as people responsibility for the team. You report to the head of operations. We have a young team of highly motivated professionals working in this area where you task will also be of guiding them through potential changes of process. Besides day-to-day activity you will also be tasked to run projects to improve processes which will impact also other functions of our business.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manages planning and tracking of procurement and logistic activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts
- Responsibility for purchasing and logistic processes including in
- and external communication
- Optimization of existing processes
- Support other functions in terms of purchasing
- Project mgmt. for dedicated project
- Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and Company Procurement guidelines (knowledge management, functional training, etc.)
- Involvement in day-to-day business

**Your background**:

- Completed vocational education with at least 5 years of experience in purchasing or logistic
- Lead a small team or being a deputy in a larger organization within logistic area
A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Experience in project mgmt. and change mgmt
- Fluent German and good English skills, both in written and spoken
