Assistant Buyer

For one of our clients we are looking for a committed and communicative personality to strengthen the team. You will be working for an international company in manufacturing, where you support the Supply Chain and collaborate closely with the operational purchasing team.

**Tasks**:

- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes
- You make sure that the acquisition of goods and the delivery of materials are secure
- From market analysis to invoicing management, you will obtain mechanical and electronic components and assemblies
- Work closely with others in the procurement function and supervise one trainee
- You address supplier concerns with technical details

What you bring:

- Some technical education combined with additional commercial training
- Experience in industrial settings with operational purchasing (e.g., purchasing clerk, purchasing specialist, technical business management assistant)
- A methodical attitude to work and effective bargaining techniques
- German and English proficient level
- MS Office knowledge and ERP system

Your profile:

- Enjoying working in a team, but also a decision-maker
- You are flexible and open to new methods and approaches
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritise task
- Good knowledge of purchasing and negotiation, knowledge of ERP system is a plus
