Government Affairs Intern

**DESCRIPTION**:
VF Corporation is looking for a Government Affairs Intern to join our Government Affairs and Global Impact team. The Position is based in Stabio, Switzerland, where the VF’s Headquarters for EMEA are located.

**LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As a Government Affairs and Global Impact Intern you will have the opportunity to support the iconic VF brands by monitoring and analyzing the current European policy framework and co-creating materials to support VF’s advocacy activities:
Reading and analyzing the VF-relevant EU policy legislation and preparing summaries
Maintaining internal data-base (SharePoint) of positions and policy reviews
Drafting of communication materials (e.g. newsletter, infographic, presentations) for internal and external use
Setting the agenda of internal workshops and briefings
Attending external meetings and preparing minutes
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Project planning and management

**SKILLS FOR SUCCESS**:
**We are looking for someone who can**:
Convincingly communicate both orally and in writing in English (Italian and French skills will be seen as an advantage)
Manage her / his own tasks and has a planned and structured approach
Demonstrate experience in project management
Swiftly drafts communications materials following the agreed structure (VF Policy positions, Policy analysis)
Has a good understanding of EU institutions and European policy-making procedures
Has goo PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills whereas Programs like Adobe Design will be seen as a plus
Please note that for an internship position the student status or being fresh graduated (not before 2023) is required.
