Joining CSL now means being part of an agile team committed to developing therapies that make a meaningful difference worldwide.Your RoleLeading a high-quality research group in Switzerland, this newly created Senior Director, Head of Translational Research Hematology & Cardiovascular, Renal will bring their industry experience bridging scientific discovery and clinical application This strategic role is central to advancing therapies by harnessing data science and translational methodologies to improve patient outcomes in cardiovascular, renal, and haematological diseases.You will be responsible for high-level strategy, scientific expertise and leadership in the direction, growth and continued development of all aspects of Translational Research. Working with the Research and clinical bioanalytics function and clinical development, you will advocate for the generation, delivery, endorsement and implementation of high quality, peer-reviewed bioassay and biomarker strategies/plans to provide pre-clinical and scientific data to support important pre-clinical Toxicology studies and improve clinical development programs.As part of the Translational and Data Science leadership team you willDevelop and implement a Translational Framework including both forward and reverse translational approaches to refine research strategies and enhance clinical development pathways.Lead and mentor a diverse team of cell biologists and biochemists to foster a culture of innovation and excellenceLead translational research of preclinical findings into clinical applications, ensuring scientific discoveries are developed into therapeutic solutionsOversee the planning, execution, budget and reporting of translational science projectsYour experienceIndustry experience across one or more of the following areas – haematology, cardiovascular and/or renalProven leader with an ability to lead, motivate and drive successful research programs from bench to clinicEvidence of contribution to the development of drug candidatesExperience working with external partners in clinical translational science, academia and other industry groupsUnderstanding of bioinformatics tools, data analysis techniques, and translational research methodologiesApply now to join a global biotherapeutics leader leading the way on serious and rare diseasesAbout CSL PlasmaCSL Plasma operates one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated plasma collection networks, with over 350 plasma collection centers in the U.S., Europe and China.
