You are an enthusiastic, fast learner field service professional with an organized and structured way of working, creative thinking, and a self-motivated mindset.You are also committed to success throughout continuous goal achievement, good planning skills and a structured way of working, open to work according to a flexible work schedule.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipmentPerform a variety of maintenance and technical support for equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer sites and/or on-siteAnalyze and evaluate products and their performancePerform troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues in the shortest possible timeMaintain effective customer communication and relationshipsConduct technical presentations at sales meetings and customer sites/ hold training sessions for customersProvide technical advice to customers, sales staff and medical professionals on product related questions, problems and issuesProvide sales staff with technical data required for product demonstrationsLiaise between sales staff and customers on technical issuesProvide technical support by telephone or via remote technologyRequired knowledge and experienceTraining in electrical engineering or electrotechnical certificateKnowledge of mechatronics, including electromechanical systems, control electronics, digital control systems (1-2 years)Fluency in French, German and English, both written and spokenExperience or strong knowledge in Big Capital, i.e.: O-Arm, navigation systems, or the Hugo robotic systemAvailability to travel almost all the entirety of working timeUnderstanding of complex systems, knowledge of large-scale systems, ideally in a medical environmentAbility to manage and solve problemsAbility to work independently with excellent problem solving skillsStrong communication skills A customer-oriented mindsetPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
