The Dedicated Fund Administration department is responsible for fund and tax reporting.
This ranges from the production of financial statements, regulatory/statistics reports and tailor-made reports for clients, production and/or control of tax forms to payment services.
The Dedicated Fund Administration department is also in charge of the fund accounting and NAV calculation related to the administration of collective investment schemes (“funds”) and certificates (“AMCs”).
It continuously interacts with internal and external clients, portfolio managers, and external auditors.
It participates in various projects such as client onboarding, fund launches, reorganizations, and liquidations.
Our scope of activities: Production of different types of financial statements and reports related to funds and AMCs; Tax services related to tax reclaims and payables.
Whether it be by the funds or the clients; Administration services related to the fund accounting and NAV calculation; Payment services related to the funds' commissions and disbursement of funds' expenses; Queries: responses to requests for information and support related to funds and AMCs.
Reporting to the Head of Dedicated Fund Administration, the successful candidate will work with members from the fund administration team in primarily delivering a wide range of fund and tax reporting services and secondarily delivering fund accounting and NAV calculation services.
The successful candidate will need to be able to manage the related workload and ensure that client requests are tended to in a timely manner.
YOUR ROLEPreparation of semi-annual and annual closings; Production of financial statements under their relevant GAAPs and regulations, regulatory filings SNB reports, tailor-made reports for clients; Calculation of TER, OGC, PTR and commitment as per Swiss regulations; Calculation of tax adjustments in order to determine the net income for tax purposes; Participation in projects related to funds such as client onboarding, fund launches, reorganizations and liquidations; Liaise with clients, portfolio managers and external auditors to ensure proper handling of fund administration tasks; Follow up with the latest regulatory requirements / regulatory watch on funds and AMCs, have critical thinking and try to improve efficiency within the department; Contribute towards the business as a whole in identifying process improvements, policy developments and any other service innovations that would improve client satisfaction.
Accuracy controls of the transactions booked in the fund accounting and valuation of the net asset for different types of certificates and funds.
All shall be in compliance with the regulations of their country of incorporation; Reconciliation of the fund accounting records with the custodian bank records; Plausibility checks on the valuation of the investments.
YOUR PROFILE1-5 years in a relevant role in the finance industry, preferably within Fund Administration or External Audit; Strong academic background, preferably CFC diploma in Banking services or equivalent; Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
German would be a plus; Strong team player skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment; Highly motivated and eager to learn; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Fast learner with a solution and service-oriented working style; Solid interpersonal skills with a partnering attitude, structured in ones working approach and able to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines; Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
