Accountant

Job Summary:In this position, you will be responsible of General Accounting tasks for several units. You will also be asked to assist the Managers for various Finance related activities and/or analysis.Responsibilities:Expenses report analysis, review and reconciliations for several entitiesPrepare monthly expense accrual and other journal entries for bank, payroll and otherMonth-end close process for the assigned entitiesPerform analysis at month-end for the assigned entitiesAssist Finance Managers during various month-end activities Oversee bank reconciliations for several entitiesMonthly reconciliation of a set of balance sheet accountsReview and approval of payments following SOX & internal policyReview and approval of GL entries following SOX & internal policyPreparation and documentation of SOPWork with IS team for process improvementsPrepare analysis of general ledger accounts for audit, tax and cost analysis purposesSupport during SOX and Audits reviewMaintain an efficient filing systemBack-up for other colleagues in GL teamEducation, Experience and Skill Requirements:5 years minimum experience in GL function is recommended. Accounting degree or commercial diploma. Pro-active, hands on mentality, motivated, team player.Experience working in a US company and multinational environment is preferred. Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written, fluency with other European languages will be a plus.At ease with the usual software tools (MS Office, accounting packages …).Are you looking for uncommon opportunities with an extraordinary company?
