For an industrial company based in Canton du Valais, we are recruiting a

Head of Business Unit

Production and Engineering

Your responsibilities

- Implement a strategy to maintain the consistent growth of the Business Unit

- Manage a team of 25 people designing, manufacturing, and controlling quality of prototype and production molds, divided in two services: Production and Engineering

- Be proactive and work on the forward-looking management of jobs and skills

- Take responsibility for people decisions such as people and performance management

- Initiate and implement a continuous improvement culture and leadership

- Introduce and apply LEAN principals and techniques

- Drive operational efficiencies through innovation

- Pursue new market opportunities with the Sales department

- Be the key partner of the Supply chain department in terms of purchasing and logistics

 

Your profile

- Strong professional with an engineer background

- Natural and hands-on leader, at ease on the shopfloor

- Experienced in managing and developing a team

- Skilled in Lean management and improvements

- Innovative and results oriented, with a proactive approach

- Comfortable working in a multicultural context

- Perfectly fluent in english.
