The Test Automation Engineer participates in the improvement of the automation framework coverage which is used to perform the validation of a cutting-edge technology

Test Validation Automation Engineer (M/F/D)

Our client is a well-known company in the world of electronic consumption, based in the canton of Vaud

Description

  • Define the end to end system test strategy
  • Develop the end to end system test automation
  • Develop OS specific test tools
  • Development of test scripts as per validation team requests
  • Prototype new tests tools using any available technologies (image recognition, AI, ...) to help automate validation of complex mass market products
  • Documentation of tools interface

Profile

  • Software Engineer with hands on experience in product validation
  • Strong experience in user interface test automation in Python (like Selenium, WinAppDriver, AppleScript)
  • Experienced with hardware interface API in python (USB, Serial, etc)
  • Experience in product and software test automation
  • Good knowledge of electronics engineering
  • Familiar with AI and ready to implement where it makes sense
  • Solution oriented mindset, Autonomous, reliable and rigorous
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Strong French and English communication skills
  • Experience in product validation for Consumer electronics
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documentation. (Deployment, User Guide, Training)
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification
