Founded on 14th April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling. Its mission is to develop and supervise cycling in all its forms and for everybody, as a competitive sport, as a healthy recreational activity and as a means of transport and having fun. Additionally, the UCI promotes a number of its own events, including the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, and a wide range of other UCI World Championships and World Cups across the various disciplines. It is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.

 

To join its Commercial and Media Rights Department, the UCI is seeking a:

 

Commercial and Media Rights Assistant (100%)

English - French

Mission

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial and Media Rights, the Commercial and Media Rights Assistant will be responsible for supporting the administrative tasks of the department, especially in relation with the media rights aspects.

 

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Ensure that the administrative tasks of the department are processed and monitored (contracts, invoices, MRA, plannings…)
  • Provide support in setting up commercial contracts (administrative follow-up, production plan, equipment management) in conjunction with the Coordinators
  • Provide support in managing media productions (contracts, travel, accommodation) with the Media Production & Distribution Manager
  • Support the Media Production & Distribution Manager for the daily management of the UCI Media Center platforms and the media archives sales (subscription, order, invoice, payment)
  • Support the department with events organizations such as meetings, seminar, partner’s visit, conference.

 

 

Profile

  • CFC of commercial employee or equivalent training
  • Experience and interest in marketing and the media
  • Experience in an international English-French environment preferred
  • Perfect command of spoken and written English and French
  • Perfect command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Very good written and organisational skills
  • Sense of responsibility, autonomy, proactivity, adaptability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High interest in sport, cycling a plus
