Business Analyst - Electronic Trading, Banking (Front Arena / FIS is a plus) - This is a long term contract opportunity to join a globally operating Basel based company in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

  • Analysing and designing business processes around the treasury applications
  • Translating business requirements into business and technical specifications, employing best industry practices
  • Advising and participating in the development of test plans for business applications and their execution
  • Coordinating and supporting business area acceptance testing for Trading Application projects
  • Interacting with IT groups for systems design, integration, standards and change management
  • Overseeing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule and within scope



Your experience/knowledge:

  • Professional experience as a Business Analysist, with at least 2 years of supporting business applications in a banking environment
  • Solid knowledge of electronic trading solutions, including FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform
  • Demonstrated skills in analysing business needs and challenges, including extracting data into accurate and concise requirements gathering and documentation
  • Familiarity with full trade transaction lifecycle, focusing on Front Office processes
  • Academic degree in information management, computer science, finance or related fields is a plus
  • Language skills: English
