The Financial Accountant & Business Analyst will work closely with the MD/Family principals as well as consultants, auditors, tax and other authorities and will be a competent partner for various aspects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Management, supervision and support of the accounting system, management reporting, cash flow forecasts and budgets for various companies in Switzerland, Spain, France, Portugal and Curaçao.
  • Planning, organising and co-ordinating the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with legal requirements and in collaboration with external auditors and consultants.
  • Oversee the day-to-day cash management, including various capital calls and distributions, foreign exchange and money market transactions as well international payments.
  • Maintain financial accounts, including accounts receivables and payables.
  • Prepare of various ad hoc reports and analyses.
  • Preparation and submission of Income Tax, VAT returns and tax at source statement.
  • Organise, co-ordinate and manage the audit and various general meetings and board meetings.
  • Responsible for the preparation and execution of the monthly payroll.
  • Onboarding and offboarding of employees for social security purposes.
  • Preparation of annual salary declaration statements.
  • Administrative support to the MD/ Family principals.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate record keeping, share registers, commercial registers, powers of attorney and all types of contracts and certificates.
  • Harmonise and standardise the processes.

  • Maintains high quality standards
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and reporting standards (SWISS GAAP)

Required Qualifications:

  • Commercial education, further higher education in finance an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar environment
  • Fluent in English and German, both oral and written is a requirement
  • Highly proficient in Abacus is a must
  • Good general MS Office skills, strong Excel skills
