Role:

We are looking for an all-rounded front end developer, also able to take on design, collecting requirements and building from feedback and ideas. The job also entails connecting to the backend, and doing small modifications when needed. In this role you will be in charge of designing and developing our one and only web application used by all customers and employees. You will be adding new pages and improving existing ones.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop our existing customer-facing web application, including adding new pages and improving existing ones.
  2. Understand customers' requests and users' feedback, prioritize it, find a solution and build it.
  3. Collaborate with backend engineers and robotic engineers to make cross-disciplinary features happen.
  4. Understand and interact with server-side systems and make modifications in these.
  5. Balance thought-through upfront design with fast-paced feature development.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the web platform.
  7. Willing to grow into taking ownership of Ascento’s frontend over time.

Background:

  1. Proficient with React and Typescript.
  2. Proven track record developing complex interactive pages.
  3. BSc in software engineering or equivalent experience.
  4. You want to make people excited about the product by beating all expectations.
  5. You can work independently and reach goals creatively, and also enjoy being part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  6. Comfortable using design tools like Figma or equivalent is a plus.
  7. Good English skills (Level C1+).
  8. Ready to grow with Ascento.
