Construction Technical Lead

We are hiring a Construction Technical Lead (M/F) for a renowned Swiss organization based in Geneva.

Vos missions

Construction Management:

  • Lead the technical team in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee the quality control of construction work and provide technical support throughout the construction process.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and optimize construction processes.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide expert technical guidance on construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Monitor construction work to confirm adherence to safety standards and quality assurance guidelines.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact between the project team and stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Regularly report on the technical progress of projects, highlighting any potential risks or delays.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that construction activities align with operational requirements.

Problem-Solving & Technical Support:

  • Address technical challenges as they arise, providing solutions that maintain project integrity, quality, and safety.
  • Offer technical expertise in the selection of materials, construction techniques, and equipment.
  • Resolve conflicts related to construction methods, material specifications, and design interpretations.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, progress updates, and change orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that all technical data and reports are up-to-date and readily accessible to the project team.
Vos compétences

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in construction management or technical lead roles, preferably in complex infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring technical excellence and quality control.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in interior renovation (Elec, HVAC, Lighting and Fourniture) and exterior building upgrades and security.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and tools.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and its application in construction projects.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols in construction.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., PMP, LEED, OSHA).
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure, aviation, or industrial construction projects in a complex industrial environment.

  • 2 days per week (if you are a Swiss resident)

Our Recruitment Process

We have a 4-step recruitment process at Enova:

  • A first interview by video conference TEAMS, to get to know each other, check your soft and hard skills and understand more about Enova and our activities.
  • If you are shortlisted, the second interview is also by video conference or face-to-face to meet other people, generally the manager managing the client business relations and know more about the collaboration.
  • After gathering all the information to have an Enova-consultant collaboration, we organize a meeting and/or a technical interview with the client technical team.
  • If we see each other working together in an Enova collaboration, we present you during a last interview the contract that we want to propose, ideally in our office.

During this recruitment process, we communicate by phone and by mail and we can invite you to meet our teams in our office or the client's team.
