Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and modification of systems such as Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Heating, Air Cleaning, Equipment Cooling, Cabin Humidification, Soundproofing, Oxygen, Smoke Detection, and Water/Waste systems.
  • Design system modifications with focus on Environmental Control System (ECS), Supplemental Heating, Air Cleaning, Equipment Cooling, Cabin Humidification, Soundproofing, Oxygen, Smoke Detection, and Water/Waste Systems.
  • Ensure all engineering outputs comply with Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance, and Interpretations for the designed product, system, or installation.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the Engineering Team and with external third parties.
  • Report directly to the Manager of Mechanical Design Engineering - Systems.
  • Support the Manager with administrative and organizational tasks.
Our ideal candidate should have:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in this field.
  • Deep knowledge of fundamental physics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, aerospace technology, and materials.
  • Proficient in MS Office and popular 2D/3D design software (AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks).
  • English mandatory; German or any other foreign languages is a big plus.
