Microbiology Technician

Your role :

Reporting to the 'Analytical Operations & Quality Control Microbiology Lab Manager' in the Global Analytical Development organization, this role represents an opportunity to significantly contribute to the startup of high-tech GMP analytical laboratories by actively participating in QC microbiological processes setup, and be responsible for:

1. Performing Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET), Bioburden, and Low Bioburden testing on various samples
2. Reviewing and verifying laboratory documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
3. Supporting colleagues in daily laboratory activities and projects
4. Assisting in managing deviations, change controls, and CAPAs to ensure continuous improvement and compliance
5. Collaborating with the team to implement and optimize new technologies in the lab
6. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
7. Adhering to all laboratory safety protocols and guidelines
8. Other tasks can be defined with the Microbiology Lab Manager.

Your profile :

1. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
2. Experience in a microbiology lab, preferably in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment
3. Knowledge of BET, Bioburden, and Low Bioburden testing
4. Familiarity with laboratory documentation practices and regulatory standards
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
7. Curiosity and openness to new tools & technology
8. Fluent in English; French is a plus.
