Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Europe Lab Services Director and based in our Center of Expertise in Geneva, your mission is to operationally support the Perfumery & Beauty division in the creation and development of new fragrances.
In your role, you ensure the continuous availability of packaging and lab supplies used by our development centers throughout the world. This includes more particularly:
- Perform annual ABC Inventory classification of SKUs and adapt the inventories management accordingly.
- Carefully monitor the demand and the inventory levels of each SKU stored in our central warehouse / distribution center.
- Identify abnormal demand patterns, verify causes with our internal clients and key stakeholders.
- Determine the reorder points to meet the demand while maintaining cost-effective levels of inventory.
- Coordinate the replenishments of materials in close collaboration with our vendors and our outsourced logistic service provider, from the order to the payment.
- Ensure accurate follow-up of internal invoicing to our affiliates.
- Administrate our logistic platform and be accountable for master data set-up in the different systems used.
- Facilitate the management of phase-in/phase-out product from a logistic standpoint.
- Manage potential supply issues or shortages.
- Actively participate in optimization projects related to the storage & distribution of materials.
- Monitor the relevant KPIs to achieve the budget and service rate targets.
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain / preferably in Procurement, with at least a 5-year experience.
- Customer and result oriented.
- Excellent analytics and IT skills mandatory (advanced MS Excel ability, VBA programming).
- APICS certification or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in French and English.
