Job Purpose Process Engineer – responsible for robotics (machining) and associated core and supporting processes. Lead industrialisation of processes and equipment in close collaboration with Shop Floor Operations, collaborating with Operations, Project Engineering, Tool & Equipment Engineering, Shop Engineering, Machine Maintenance and external vendors. Key Responsibilities Provide in‑depth expertise in robotics and machining, including scanning, 3D printing, tool design and CAD/CAM. Develop, implement and continuously optimise repair processes while strictly adhering to OEM quality and compliance requirements. Analyse production drawings and OEM procedures to ensure seamless process compliance. Lead industrialisation projects and define/implement corrective actions; assist in industrialising new repairs. Apply lean methods (Kaizen, SPC, FPY, OEE, etc.) to continuously improve within your area of responsibility. Support root‑cause analysis and coordinate engineering measures for fast, targeted problem resolution. Collaborate with Operations, Repair Technology, Tool Technology, and Workshop Technology to ensure smooth workflows. Define and certify equivalent alternative consumables and processes to sustain efficiency and quality. Conduct coaching and training sessions for colleagues in programming and process standards. Required Profile Solid hands‑on experience operating and programming ABB industrial robots, with offline CAD/CAM and Robotic Studio. Proven expertise in programming 6‑axis robotic systems and using offline simulation tools (ABB, FANUC) and CNC‑controlled machinery. Experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in MRO in the aerospace sector. Proactive, team‑oriented, with high initiative, strong implementation mindset and awareness of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Experience in project management and applying lean and quality methodologies (Kaizen, FMEA, 5S). Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in robotics and/or CNC programming. Fluent in English (C1). German (B1) an advantage. Scientific/technical degree (MSc/BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
